Security and Diplomacy Studies in Israel
Israel is at the focus of the world's attention in both security and diplomacy matters. It is also the center of enormous professional expertise in these fields. The international MA program brings together renowned scholars and leading experts in both security and diplomacy, offering students an exceptionally unique learning experience in English. Educational tours of Israeli Defense Force bases and meetings with Israeli officials and foreign ambassadors are incorporated into the curriculum. Students come from all over the world and are encouraged to take up internships and other extra-curricular activities during an exciting year in Israel.
The University and City of Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv University is the largest and one of the best of Israel's institutions of higher education. It comprises over 30,000 students in 105 departments, 27 schools, and 9 faculties. The city of Tel Aviv is full of creativity, culture, business, social interaction and fun. Israel's largest city offers beaches, pubs, markets and an amazing nightlife. Enjoying sunny and warm Mediterranean weather and some of the best sandy beaches in the Middle East, Tel Aviv has a reputation of cheerful vibrancy as a "city that never stops".
Duration
The International MA in Security and Diplomacy Studies is a one-year full-time program open to Israeli and international students. The program comprises three semesters – from October to August. Most classes are held between Monday and Thursday, starting at 1:00pm, leaving the mornings and a long weekend free for studying and extra-curricular activities.
