The Kibbutz University Program, offered in conjunction with Project Oren, is held prior to the beginning of both the autumn and the spring semester at the University of Haifa. The program is open to undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of college studies and are registered for the One Year/Semester Program at the University of Haifa. Students spend six weeks on Kibbutz Ramot Menashe, located in the Meggido area on the eastern slope of the Carmel Mountain Range.
Students study Hebrew, work on the kibbutz, and attend a lecture-discussion series on Contemporary Issues in Israel. In addition, there is a full program of tours, hiking trips and social activities. |
