The new College Preparatory Program (CPP), offered through Ben-Gurion University’s Center for International Student Programs, is designed to meet the academic and extracurricular needs and interests of high school graduates. The program helps students to launch themselves into higher education and achieve personal growth and development while gaining international exposure living, studying and volunteering abroad.
In addition to regular academic courses taught in English, CPP students study Hebrew in the six-week, intensive Hebrew Ulpan held prior to the opening of each semester and during the regular academic year. CPP students are required to volunteer at least six hours per week in one of the many social service opportunities available to overseas students.
Students have the option of attending for one semester or the entire year, prior to their applying to or enrolling in a college or university program.
CPP students are housed in the Ben-Gurion University dormitories and have Israeli university students as roommates. |
