The Hebrew University of Jerusalem
The Melton Centre for Jewish Education, established by the School of Education and the Institute of Contemporary Jewry, offers a fully funded year of studies for Jewish educators. The educators participate in a group seminar and develop personal academic projects based on individual interests. Participants are awarded a substantial fellowship. Courses taken in this program may be counted towards the M.A. degree in Jewish Education offered by the University's Rothberg International School. Candidates must have a B.A. or its equivalent and be proficient in Hebrew.
Bar-Ilan University
The Lookstein Center for Jewish Education in the Diaspora, established by the School of Education, offers short and long-term seminars, courses, and workshops to Jewish educators from the Diaspora. The Senior Educators Program provides a select group of experienced educators with an extraordinary opportunity to spend an academic year at Bar-Ilan in Israel expanding their Jewish knowledge, improving their didactic skills and strengthening their connection to the Land of Israel. Candidates should have a B.A. or B.Ed. or its equivalent, be proficient in the Hebrew language, and have a minimum of three years in professional Jewish education. |
