The Raphael Recanati International School unites all of IDC’s international programs – a unique academic track offering full degree studies taught entirely in English. The purpose of the international school is to attract students from around the world, train them for leadership in their own communities, expose them to Israel and draw them to the Zionist cause.
The school’s academic standards are the same as those demanded of Israeli students at IDC - many of whom are themselves enrolled in the Raphael Recanati International School, to improve their English language skills.
The Raphael Recanati International School affords its graduates an internationally recognized B.A. in either Computer Science, Business or Government in just three years; students in Computer Science or Government may take a fourth year to earn a second undergraduate degree in Business. The joint-degree option provides an important competitive edge when entering the workplace or applying to graduate school.
The school’s faculty is world - renowned. Computer Science and Business faculty are engaged in a number of large-scale R&D projects in computer science and information technology supported jointly by Israeli and American governmental agencies - the Chief Scientist’s Office of the Israeli Ministry of Science, the U.S. Department of Defense (DARPA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and NASA.
The school’s Government program faculty includes researchers and scholars famous for work on Middle East affairs, history, and efforts to buttress Western democracies against the threat of terrorism |
