Target population: IDC IS ACCEPTING STUDENTS with
- A penchant for entrepreneurship combined with critical thinking and self-reflection
- The competence and “can-do” creativity to make a difference in the Jewish world and the burning desire to do so
- Track records of pro-social activism and leadership experience in the voluntary sector
This is a 12-month English-language program in Israel, with students from Israel and Diaspora Jewish communities.
Students earn:
(1) fully accredited MBA degree; (2) specialization in Nonprofit Management; (3) certificate in Jewish Leadership.
Courses address issues such as:
- Entrepreneurship and Leadership in the 21st Century
- Financial and Managerial Accounting
- The Moral Agenda of the Jewish People
- Strategic Marketing and Planning
- Volunteer and Staff Management & Training
- Grant Writing and Fundraising
- Understanding the Jewish World, Its People, Institutions & Communities
- Organizational Behavior
Field studies including:
- One-day per week study visits to Israeli nonprofits and communities
- Ten-day Community Intervention Project
- Optional individually tailored (non-credit) agency-based internships

- Pro-seminars with leading professionals, community leaders and scholars

Applicants must possess an undergraduate degree and be proficient in English.
